African trade beads from the 1800's were Venetian glass known as "chevrons" for their multiple layers of color. At the core of these "watermelon" styled beads are a heart of white, streak of red, finished with a lovely deep emerald green with a raised ribbed texture. Accented with a Bali bead, choose gold-filled (shown) or sterling silver. These beads have a wonderful, worn feel to them, that make them just ripe for the picking! Earrings dangle approx. 1" long.
