Janine had a challenge for me -- she wanted a bridal necklace that was beautiful in the back as well as the front! The custom jewelry design process for such a complicated design usually starts with a sketch. So I sketched a few ideas and Janine selected the materials she'd like to see -- sterling silver and clear topazes. After we settled on a design, I started to work on her custom bridal jewelry design. The front was two strands of chain with a large white topaz drop in the front, while the back was two asymmetrical strands of chain that were also sprinkled with white topazes. The necklace is a little tricky to wear, but she pulled it off beautifully and was pleased with the result, as was I!
