My good friend Kim got married to Shahid in a gorgeous ceremony at one of my favorite golf courses, Boundary Oak. As a member of the bridal party, I got to the venue early and got to participate in the bride's makeup and dressing moments. I was so proud and pleased to have made for Kim a custom PLC double-strand necklace with freshwater pearl drop in sterling silver. I also made the bridesmaid jewelry of single red garnet stone drop on sterling silver to match the dresses (click inset at left for a picture of me, the bride, and the necklaces!). Kim's wedding was one of the rare moments that I wore my own jewelry!

Kim has gone with me to the bead shows where I shop for supplies, spent evenings making jewelry with me, and has a pretty good stash of supplies herself. So it was extra cool of Kim to ask me to make her jewelry for her for such an important day. Thank you, Kim! You're a great friend :).
